RTO and police department checked school buses

Jagdalpur. Today, a checking campaign of school buses was jointly conducted by Traffic Police Jagdalpur, Transport Department, SDRF and Health Department.

During this period, documents of more than 200 buses of all the schools were examined, technical inspection of the vehicles and emergency facilities available in the vehicles like first aid box, fire extinguisher equipment, emergency exit, panic button etc. were closely inspected. Keeping in view the emergency situation, training was given on fire equipment. Apart from this, health check-up of the vehicle drivers was conducted by the health department.

Necessary instructions were also given to the drivers to rectify the deficiencies found within the prescribed time limit. During this, RTO Rishabh Naidu, traffic in-charge Abhijeet Bhadauria, RTO inspector Abid Khan, RTO superintendent Naresh Kumar Sankat, SHO Praveen Joshi, besides other employees of traffic, SDRF and health department were present.
