Robbery at teacher’s house, Jashpur police in a tizzy

Jashpur. A sensational late-night robbery occurred in Karmitikkara village, under the jurisdiction of the Pathalgaon police station. Three unidentified masked assailants entered a teacher’s home, held his family hostage, and fled with jewelry and cash worth lakhs of rupees. Upon resisting, the assailants attacked the teacher with knives, injuring him and his family.

According to reports, between 12 and 12:30 a.m. on December 26th, masked assailants broke into the private home of Gulab Singh Jagat, a teacher living in Fuleta Chowk, Karmitikkara. The teacher, his wife, and two children were present at the time of the incident. The assailants stole a mangalsutra, gold tops, and a mobile phone. The teacher and his family suffered minor injuries in the knife attack, and the police hospitalized them for treatment.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a Jashpur police team arrived at the scene. Based on the teacher’s complaint, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Preliminary investigations have revealed the involvement of three masked suspects. Police are enlisting the help of the dog squad and cyber cell to search for them.
