Rice mill driver absconds with cash worth lakhs, case registered

Bilaspur. The driver of a rice miller in Takhatpur of Bilaspur district has fled with Rs 10 lakh and the car. After complaining about the incident, the police cordoned off the vehicle and started searching for it, then found out that the car was found parked in Ganiyari, but the driver was missing. The incident took place in village Khamhariya of Takhatpur police station area. According to the information, Kailash Aggarwal, resident of Takhatpur Sangam Nagar, has a rice mill in Khamhariya. On Wednesday morning, driver Ved Prakash Singh alias Golu (30 years), resident of Sai Mandir, reached Bilaspur Rice Mill with about Rs 10 lakh in his bag from home. The driver has been working with them for a month.

When the rice was found, the driver remained sitting in the car for some time. As soon as Kailash Aggarwal went inside the rice mill, the driver did not take the bag and luggage from the car. Rather he ran away with the car. When Kailash Aggarwal came out after some time, he saw that both his driver and the car were missing. About Rs 10 lakh were in the cash bag in that car. Kailash Aggarwal told that he informed the surrounding relatives about this. Then it came to light that the driver had left the car near Ganiari and ran away somewhere. Here, Kailash Aggarwal reached Takhatpur police station and complained about this. At present the police is investigating the matter.
