Retired officer’s son harasses police while drunk, creates drama by climbing mobile tower

Lucky Tandon, 31-year-old son of retired Additional SP Kavilash Tandon from Durg district, had climbed the mobile tower of BSNL in Sector 8. When Bhilai Nagar police arrived to bring him down, he started talking in English. After this the police brought him to the police station and after counseling he was released late at night.

Bhilai Nagar Police had received information on Sunday night that someone had climbed into the BSNL mobile tower in Sector 8. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot. There was a crowd of people there. The police immediately called the SDRF team, but before they arrived he came down from the tower.

When the police personnel came down and shined it, the young man started talking in English and started teaching law lessons to the police. The youth identified himself as Lucky Tandon, father Kavilash Tandon, resident of Sector 8. Kavilash Tandon has held the post of Additional SP in Durg Police and has recently retired. After this the police caught him and took him to the police station. Here he was given counseling till late night and then after giving instructions he was released. Lucky is quite educated. He told the police that he was well educated and had returned after studying law from Hidayatullah National Law University. Is addicted to drinking alcohol. Still looking for work. He has big hair and a big beard in Oso’s style.
