Resignation of famous IAS officer Abhishek Singh accepted, speculation about joining politics

New Delhi: The resignation of Abhishek Singh, a famous IAS officer of UP, has been accepted after 5 months. After getting approval from the Central Government, the UP Government has accepted his resignation. He was under suspension since February last year, after which he resigned in October. His career has always been in controversy. There are discussions in political circles that Abhishek Singh wants to contest Lok Sabha elections from Jaunpur.
Abhishek Singh was sent on deputation to Delhi for three years in 2015, after which in 2018 this period was extended for two more years, but during that time he went on medical leave. Delhi government sent Abhishek back to his parent cadre UP. For a long time he did not join the job in UP and for this he did not even give a satisfactory answer to the recruitment department. However, he had joined the job in the year 2022.
Abhishek Singh was sent as an observer to the Election Commission for the Gujarat Assembly elections in the year 2022. Meanwhile, standing in front of the government car, he got his photo clicked and after posting it on social media, the controversy increased, due to which he came into limelight. The Election Commission considered this to be indiscipline and he was removed from the post in November. After returning from Gujarat, Abhishek Singh had again joined his duty in UP.
Recently, Abhishek Singh had organized Ganesh Mahotsav in his hometown Jaunpur. In which all the film actors of Mumbai participated. Abhishek Singh has worked as an actor in many video albums. Abhishek Singh, fond of acting, came into limelight overnight with the song ‘Dil Tod Ke’. The song written by lyricist Manoj Muntashir Shukla and sung by famous singer B Praak was released by T-Series in July 2020. After this, IAS Abhishek was seen in the song ‘Tujhe Bhoolna To Chaha…’ released in the voice of singer Jubin Nautiyal. He also worked in season 2 of OTT platform Netflix’s web series ‘Delhi Crime’.
