Republic Day: 1.14 lakh people attended the ‘Tejasvi Vismay’ flower and fruit exhibition.

Karnataka: The flower and fruit show with the theme ‘Tejasvi Vismaya’ (Brilliant Wonder), held at the Lal Bagh Glass House on Republic Day, attracted 1.14 lakh visitors, generating ₹46 lakh in entry fees.

There were huge crowds at all four gates of Lal Bagh. One-way traffic was implemented at the main gate of Lal Bagh to manage the traffic, but roadside vendors caused traffic congestion.

People were rushing to buy tickets at the Lal Bagh Metro station. Small shops had sprung up on the footpaths from the Shantinagar bus stand to the Lal Bagh gate and the park’s west gate.

Visitors stood in long queues inside the Glass House to see the exhibits depicting events from Tejasvi’s life. Police and horticulture department staff had a tough time controlling the crowds.
