Rats bite patient in Telangana government hospital

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a patient undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Telangana was bitten by rats.

The patient was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the government hospital at Kamareddy district headquarters.

Sheikh Mujib was bitten by rats on his hands and feet in the ICU of the Government Medical College and General Hospital, Kamareddy.

He was undergoing treatment in the ICU for a week due to blood pressure related problems.

His relatives noticed that his hands and legs were bleeding due to rat bites. He alerted medical staff, who provided treatment.

Attendants of other patients also complained about the rat menace in the hospital. He demanded immediate action from the hospital authorities to resolve the problem.

Meanwhile, medical and health department officials have responded to the incident. The District Medical and Health Officer inquired about the condition of the patient.

Doctors told him that his condition was stable and the patient was being provided the best possible medical treatment.
