Rath Yatra Holiday In Odisha For Two Days: CM Mohan Majhi
Puri: Rath Yatra holiday in Odisha to be observed for two days informed CM Mohan Charan Majhi after the last joint meeting of Rath Yatra 2024 on Tuesday. The announcement in this regard was made by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi after the conclusion of the meeting that was held in Puri Municipality Hall.
The CM chaired the third or last joint meeting of Rath Yatra 2024. Administrative preparations have been started to streamline the world-renowned annual chariot festival of Lord Jagannath and his siblings that is scheduled to be held on July 7.
The Rath Yatra holiday in Odisha will be for two days that is July 7 and July 8, 2024.
The last Rath Coordination Committee meeting has been held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi today at 11:15 am in Puri Municipality Hall. Last Wednesday, the second Rath coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, while the officers of various departments presented the action plan report of their departments before the Law Minister.
On the other hand, starting from the construction of the chariot, to how the procession can be streamlined, to how can the security arrangements be streamlined has been discussed today.
The disciplined darshan of devotees, the rituals and all the arrangements related to the procession will be discussed in today’s meeting. While the Chief Minister presided over the meeting today, the ministers of various departments, all the MLAs of the districts, Deputy Chief Ministers, Chief Administrator of Srimandir, Zillapal, SP and administrative officers of Srimandir were present said reports.
