Rape of headmistress, driving teacher arrested

The accused, Shrikant Pandey, a resident of Bemetara district, took the headmistress to a hotel and first gave her intoxicants. After this, he committed the crime of rape in front of her. At present, the police is arresting the accused in the case and taking further action.

According to the information received, the accused was acquainted with the young man Shrikant Pandey of Bemetara district, who is a resident of Korba. The woman had come to the accused youth to learn driving. The closeness between the two grew. The meetings increased. After this, he took the headmistress to a hotel in Kenchi under Gaurela police station area by deceit.

He mixed intoxicants in her food and fed her. When she became unconscious, he committed the crime of rape. When she regained consciousness, she came to know about the wrong act done with her, then she informed her family members about it and lodged a report in Gaurela police station. Taking action on the case, the police have sent the accused to jail on arrest remand.
