Rape of a woman alone in the house, then absconding accused arrested after assault

Dhamtari. A case of raping a woman by threatening to kill her has come to light in the district. After the complaint of the case, the Kurud police have arrested the accused. It is being told that a woman was alone at home in village Chest of Kurud police station area, the same accused Harish Sen forcefully entered the house and raped the woman threatening to kill her.

When the woman’s husband came home, the accused assaulted him and ran away, after which the victim and her husband reached the police station and filed a report. The police have arrested the accused on charges of rape and have started taking further action.
