Rakhi for soldiers sent from 16 schools of Durg district

Durg. On this Rakshabandhan, Rakhi will be decorated on the wrists of those brave sons of the country who are protecting the country by staying on the borders. Small school girls of Durg district have prepared more than 1900 Rakhis with their own hands which will soon be sent to the soldiers deployed across the country.

Under this noble work, the girl students of 16 schools of the district have not only made Rakhis but have also written letters full of love and respect for their brave brothers. In these letters, the sisters have expressed their feelings towards the soldiers and saluted their courage. This initiative is being done under the Ek Rakhi Sainik Ke Naam campaign which is being run at the state level through Bharat Scouts and Guides.

As per the instructions received from the state headquarters, the Durg District Education Department took this campaign seriously and issued orders to all the schools under which the girl students prepared Rakhis and messages. Now all these Rakhis are being sent to the state headquarters from where they will be further delivered to the soldiers.
