Rajinikanth’s film is getting ready for the silver screen after 37 years

Usually, a film is delayed for a few months or a maximum of two to three years. But recently, a film is getting ready for release after 37 years, which is creating a sensation in the film industry. That film is none other than ‘Hum Mein Shah Hen Shah Kaun’, a Hindi film starring superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood veteran Shatrughan Sinha as heroes. Hema Malini played a key role in this film, which was released in 1989. At that time, the producers officially announced that the shooting of this film was completed and it would be released soon, which created huge expectations. Since it is a film starring two big stars together, it is reported that the makers are also planning to dub it in Tamil and release it.
However, the project was unexpectedly halted during the final stages of post-production. The reasons were not officially revealed. After that, several attempts were made to re-release the film, but all of them failed. Over time, due to the death of the director and producers, financial problems, and legal issues, the film was confined to files. With that, hopes that the film would ever be released were completely extinguished. As time passed, many who worked on this film left this world. Although there were some others, it was forgotten that such a film existed. The unexpected news of the release of this film at such a time has now become a topic of discussion in Bollywood as well as in the South Indian film industry.
According to the latest information, the producers are preparing to bring this film to the audience with the help of modern technology. It seems that the film, which was in reel format, has already been converted to digital format. Moreover, it is reported that AI technology is being used to improve the sound quality and visuals, and to make the characters of the heroes more attractive. It seems that Shabana and Aslam Mirza, who previously worked as associate producers, have taken the responsibility of bringing this project forward. They are now planning to release the film with a higher budget than before. On the other hand, Bollywood sources say that legal discussions are underway regarding the necessary permissions from Rajinikanth, Shatrughan Sinha, and Hema Malini, as well as issues related to music copyright. The producers are confident that this film, which was completed 37 years ago, will finally be released in April 2026.
