Rajasthan: Husband kills wife suspecting illicit relationship

Jaipur: A man in Bharatpur, Rajasthan allegedly killed his wife by slitting her throat on Tuesday night. Police gave this information. Sewar police station in-charge Anil Jasoria said that the incident took place in Sainik Colony of the city. Accused Satendra Kumar slit the throat of his wife Rajni on Tuesday night while she was sleeping. Children were also sleeping in the house at the time of the incident. He told that the accused also stabbed his wife several times with a knife on her neck and other parts of the body. According to the police, the man suspected that his wife was having an illicit relationship with someone.

Police said that Satendra surrendered at the police station after killing his wife. Police said that the body will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem. The accused has been taken into custody. The couple has two daughters and a son.
