Rajasthan: Body of a woman found in an empty plot in Kota

Rajasthan: The blood-soaked body of a 45-year-old woman was found in an empty plot in Kota, Rajasthan on Friday morning. This information was given to the police. Police said that the woman was identified as Rani Valmiki, who lived on Balita Road near Chhoti Pulia under Kunhadi police station. Police said that the woman’s husband died about four years ago and she lives with her “life partner” Mukesh, who works as a garbage picker. After the complaint of the woman’s son, the police registered a case of murder against her partner, who is absconding since Thursday evening.

Kunhadi police station Inspector Arvind Bhardwaj said that at around 9 am on Friday, a blood-soaked body of a woman was found in an empty plot in Rajat Nagar, with marks of serious injuries on her head. He said that prima facie it appears that the woman was killed by attacking her with a heavy stone late on Thursday night. Bharadwaj said police have registered a case of murder under sections 103 and 248 of the Indian Penal Code Act against the woman’s “life partner” Mukesh. He said police handed over the woman’s body to her family after post-mortem on Friday and efforts were on to nab the accused.
