Raj Thackeray: Raj Thackeray expressed regret after the election results were announced
Maharashtra: After the results of the assembly elections were declared, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray has not commented much on the results. He has not even held any party meeting or political program. However, today he has written a post on social media to welcome the new year. In which he has commented on politics. Through this post, he has also wished the party workers a Happy New Year. He has also expressed regret that people remember Maharashtra Navnirman Sena in every difficult time, but forget the party at the time of voting. Raj Thackeray said in this post, “In a period of 25 years, our party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has been stable, the party has seen many ups and downs. And all this has taught us a lot. Even though a lot has changed in these 25 years, many things are the same, in a metropolis like Mumbai, which is the capital of Maharashtra, Marathi people feel insecure.
The youth do not get work, but at the same time people from other states get job opportunities. The unemployed do not have any caste, but they are made to feel that caste, and conflict is created between castes. The lives of all the workers from farmers to the poor are being ruined by inflation. And at the time of this and every other problem, people remember the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, but actually forget the party at the time of voting. Raj Thackeray further said, “After the results of the assembly elections were declared on November 23, 2024, I participated in some public programs, but deliberately refrained from political commentary.
I am still contemplating what exactly happened and I will soon talk about it in detail. But I appeal to the soldiers of Maharashtra to forget what happened. Within a few weeks of the election results being announced, the crackdown against Marathi people had started and at that time Maharashtra Navnirman Sena was expected to hit back and that is what we did. Basically, the fact has come to light that Marathi people are being used only for votes. Atrocities against women are on the rise. There is conflict between two communities in the state, both of which are Marathi speaking. And inflation has made people unhappy.”
