chhattisgarh During the investigation, information was received through an informer that on 23.07.2024, a person is looking for a customer to sell a motorcycle behind the fruit market. On this information, staff R 2151, 2345 and witnesses of the spot, 01 Krishna Jagat father Santosh Jagat and 02 Gokul Jal father Pradeep Jal went to the spot and verified the information where two persons were found, who on asking their name and address told their names to be (1) Topeshwar Sahu alias Sanju father Janpad Sahu age 28 years, resident of Sector 01, opposite P.26, near sub-station, Avanti Vihar police station Khamhardih Raipur and (2) Jitendra Nishad father Shri Dhan Kumar Nishad age 34 years, resident of village Hathkhoj Tehsil police station Rajim district Gariaband, presently Block No. 02, House No. 05 BSUP Colony, Police Station Telibandha district Raipur. Both the accused have admitted that for the past 5-6 months they have been stealing Activa, Jupiter, Access, Pulsar, Hero Honda Splendor, Honda Sign by starting the vehicles using the master keys they had with them from New Rajendra Nagar area, Budha Talab Raipur, Mowa Pandri Kapda Market, Katora Talab, Ramsagarpara, Avanti Vihar near Jagannath Temple and other places. A total of 14 motor cycles and Activa vehicles were seized from the accused and taken into police custody. The accused have been arrested and sent on judicial remand.
