Raipur: Surveillance miscreant Kamlesh Sahu arrested for illegal sale of liquor. In this sequence, on 22.01.2025, information was received that a person is selling illegal liquor near Dahi Handi Maidan Srinagar Road Khamtarai under Police Station Khamtarai area. On which, under the guidance of senior officers and under the leadership of Police Station In-charge Khamtarai, the team of Police Station Khamtarai went to the said place and identified and caught the person of the description given by the informer. Who was found to be the criminal under surveillance of Khamtarai police station, Kamlesh Sahu, father late Basant Sahu, age 35 years, resident of Ganga Nagar Khamtarai. On searching by the team members, 37 quarters of Desi Mandira Masala were found to be kept. On demanding valid documents from the criminal regarding possession of liquor, he was misleading the team members by not presenting any documents.

On which the team members arrested the criminal under surveillance, Kamlesh Sahu, seized 37 quarters of Desi Mandira Masala worth Rs 4070 from his possession and registered a case against the accused in Khamtarai police station under crime number 47/25 section 34(2) of the Excise Act.
