Raipur: Drivers were taught traffic rules on the road at Shastri Chowk.

Raipur. As part of the traffic awareness campaign, students of Rashtriya Uchchatar Madhyamik Vidyalaya, located at Kachari Chowk, were educated on traffic rules on 10 October 2025. Today, 60 students from Rashtriya Vidyalaya, along with their sports teacher and traffic police instructor, TK Lal Bhoi, and constable Sahdev Verma, took to the streets at Shastri Chowk, carrying placards with traffic rules written on them, to teach drivers about traffic rules.

Drivers stopped at traffic signals were shown and advised to follow them. The children urged two-wheeler drivers to wear helmets and four-wheeler drivers to wear seat belts. The placards displayed at the station carried messages such as “Don’t drive on the wrong side of the road,” “Wear helmets while driving two-wheelers,” “Don’t drive under the influence,” “Wear seat belts,” “Don’t drive without a license,” “Park in designated parking spaces,” and “Follow signals.” The students spent two hours at Shastri Chowk urging people to follow traffic rules. During this time, Sub-Inspector Tikaram Sagar, Constable Ramsharan Kshatriya, and other team members from the Sharda Chowk Traffic Police Station were present.
