Raipur Breaking: Ganja smuggler arrested in Bhatgaon under bridge
Raipur. Ganja smuggler has been arrested in Bhatgaon under bridge. Police received information from an informer that a person is standing in Bhatgaon under bridge waiting for a vehicle with illegal ganja in a black brown bag.
On this information, a team was immediately formed from police station Purani Basti and Cyber Cell and after informing the senior officers, the team left for the spot. As per the information given by the informer, the said boy was surrounded and searched. During this, two packets were found inside a black brown bag from the possession of the accused which were wrapped in bad colored tape, in which 05 kg 160 grams of narcotic substance ganja was found in one packet and 05 kg 100 grams of narcotic substance ganja in the other packet, total 10 kg 260 grams worth Rs 1,02,060 was found, which was seized and a case number 264/2024 under section 20 (B), NDPS Act was registered against the accused in police station Purani Basti and the accused was arrested on 20.06.2024 and sent to judicial custody.
