Raipur: Absconding accused arrested in assault case
Raipur. The absconding accused in the assault case has been arrested. Rakesh Chandra Tiwari filed a report in Khamhardih police station on 08.07.2025 that Sanjay Chaudhary daily throws garbage and leftover food on the road near the square in front of his house. On 07.07.2025 at around 11.00 pm, Sanjay Chaudhary was again throwing leftover food in the square, when he was stopped from doing so from his house, Sanjay Chaudhary started abusing him by using vulgar words about his mother and sister. Then the applicant came out of his house and stopped him from abusing and said that I get this place cleaned daily, then why do you throw leftovers and garbage?
Hearing the sound of argument, his son Aishwarya Tiwari and his three friends Rachit Mate, Shivang Shukla, Gagan Kumar alias Gokul who had come to the house came to the spot, then Sanjay Chaudhary said that you people are threatening me, then Yasin Sheikh alias Lal Sonu and his brother, nephew who live next to Sanjay Chaudhary came there and all of them together started abusing obscenely, then they started pushing his son Aishwarya and when he refused, they started beating him with hands, fists and kicks. When the crowd gathered, these people went inside their house, then after some time Yasin Sheikh alias Sonu and his 10-15 companions entered the applicant’s house and attacked them with sticks, fists, pipes, knives and beat them up in a life-threatening manner, due to which these people got injured, on the report of which a crime was registered.
In view of the seriousness of the case, as per the directions of senior officers, absconding accused Mohammad Anas Khan father Nasir Raza resident of Raja Talab behind Noorani Masjid, Civil Lines Police Station, Raipur was arrested today on 23.07.2025 and sent to judicial remand. A total of 09 accused have been arrested in the case so far. Every possible effort is being made to arrest other absconding accused involved in the case by continuously tracing them.
