Rain likely in Tamil Nadu till June 11: 10 places will remain sunny

Tamil Nadu : Heat wave conditions persisted at 10 places in Tamil Nadu on Thursday. The highest temperature of 104 degrees Fahrenheit was recorded at Madurai Airport. At the same time, it has been told that there is a possibility of rain at some places in the state till June 11.

On Thursday, the maximum temperature at some places in Tamil Nadu was 3 degrees Celsius higher than normal. At other places it was close to normal.

Vellore, Parangipettai – (each) 103.1, Madurai City – 102.56, Erode, Paramathivelur – (each) 102.2, Adhirampattinam – 100.94, Trichy, Chennai Meenambakkam – (each) 100.58, Thanjavur – 100.4 degrees, a total of 10 places are experiencing severe heat.

Moreover, maximum temperatures will be 3 degrees Fahrenheit above normal at some places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on Friday (June 6).

Moderate Rain: Due to change in westerly wind speed, moderate rain accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning and wind is likely at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal areas from Friday (June 6) to June 11.

Light rain is likely over Chennai and Puducherry areas on June 6. However, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
