Raigarh: Pickup overturned on Baramkela road, one dead

Sarangarh news. A pickup vehicle CG 13 UD 6326 lost control and overturned near a turn on the forest road between the district headquarters and Baramkela, in which 21 people were travelling. One person has died in the accident. 6 people have been referred from Community Health Center Baramkela to Raigarh. The remaining 14 people are being treated at Community Health Center Baramkela. Collector Dharmesh Sahu met the injured and instructed CMHO Dr. Awadhesh Panigrahi for better treatment. SP Pushkar Sharma met the injured and inquired about their treatment etc. On the instructions of the Collector, SDM Sarangarh Aniket Sahu has given immediate assistance of Rs 25 thousand to the family of the deceased in the road accident. All the people travelling in the vehicle are residents of the vicinity of Sarangarh, who used to work as labourers at a construction site in Baramkela.

During this, Baramkela BMO Dr. Sanjay Patel, Baramkela Police Station in-charge and other police personnel were present. It is noteworthy that as soon as the police station in-charge Baramkela got the information, the police team immediately reached the accident site and started rescue work and brought all the injured to the Community Health Center Baramkela. Names of the deceased and referred injured Chhabilal Jolhe father Hiralal Jolhe age 45 years, resident of village Bade Kharri of Sarangarh tehsil died due to the overturning of the pickup vehicle. Seriously injured Raya Sidar father Chhedilal age 20 years, Omprakash Sahu father Rameshwar Sahu age 30 years, Geeta Maitri father Kisam Maitri, age 35 years, Seema Munda father Ganesh age 20 years, Ram Gulaal father Anandram age 30 years, Ram Singh Sahu father Gopi age 50 years have been referred to Raigarh Medical College. chhattisgarh
