Raid in Golbazar hotel, two smugglers caught with ganja in room number 102
Raipur. Inter-state accused Satyendra Giri and Deshraj Singh have been arrested with ganja. According to the information, two persons from Rajasthan have kept ganja with them in room number 102 of Shri Palace situated under police station Golbazar area and are looking for customers to sell it. On which, under the direction of senior officers, a special team of police station Golbazar went to the said place and identified and arrested the persons matching the description given by the informer.
During interrogation, both of them told their names to be 01. Satyendra Giri father Subhash Giri age 19 years address Daupura, police station Basedi, district Dholpur (Rajasthan) and 02. Deshraj Singh father Kishan Singh age 21 years address Nagla Mathli, PO. Mahmadpura Tehsil. Bayana, district Bharatpur (Rajasthan). When the team members searched the backpacks kept with both of them, ganja was found in both the bags.
On which the accused 01. Satyendra Giri father Subhash Giri age 19 years address Daupura, Police Station Basedi, District Dholpur (Rajasthan) and 02. Deshraj Singh father Kishan Singh age 21 years address Nagla Mathli, PO. Mahmadpura Tehsil. Bayana, District Bharatpur (Rajasthan) were arrested and a total of 10 kg 614 grams of ganja worth about Rs 1,50,000/- was seized from his possession and action was taken by registering a crime number 70/2025 section 20B Narcotics Act against the accused in Police Station Golbazar.
