Puri: Anti-drone technology to be installed in Srimandira: Law Minister

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government is considering installing anti-drone technology at Shrimandira, the famous Lord Jagannath temple in Puri, to address security concerns.

According to Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, the plan is currently under consideration while the Law Department has discussed it with the Police Department.

Once installed, the technology would enable the authorities to shoot down any unauthorized drones or flying objects over the temple premises.

The temple administration is likely to provide funds for this initiative if required, the minister added.

Similar anti-drone technology might also be installed at the Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar, said the minister.
