Punjab: Writer invited for workshop on drug abuse

Punjab: Mohan Sharma, former project director of Red Cross Drug De-addiction Centre in Sangrur, has been invited by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, to speak at a media workshop on drug abuse to be held in Jalandhar on November 5.

Sharma, author of five books on drug abuse, will serve as a speaker and resource person at the workshop. The ‘Vartalaap’ initiative aims to promote meaningful dialogue and discussion between the government and the media on this important issue.
