Punjab: Waring accused AAP of betrayal for not paying dues

Punjab: Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the AAP government, alleging that it has betrayed over six lakh government employees and pensioners in the state. Warring said the government has failed to pay the pending dues since 2021, leaving countless families in distress. “It is shameful that it took a high court order for AAP to accept its responsibility towards employees and pensioners. Their affidavit promising to pay dues of around Rs 14,000 crore by 2029-30 is nothing less than a cruel joke,” he said.
