Punjab: Tithi won bronze medal in rifle shooting

Punjab: Tithi Saraswat from Abohar brought laurels to the city by winning a bronze medal at the National Rifle Shooting Championship 2024 organised by the School Games Federation of India in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Tithi’s exceptional performance earned her the coveted medal at the competition. Along with Tithi, two other shooters from Abohar Gurnoor Singh and Priyanshi Bishnoi were selected for the competition after winning medals at the state-level shooting competition.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Varinder Singh Brar visited the shooting range in Abohar to felicitate the winners and appreciate their achievements. He also felicitated the winning shooters in various other competitions. Deputy Superintendent of Police Sukhwinder Singh Brar, City-1 SHO Maninder Singh and Officiating Principal of DAV College of Education Dr Vijay Grover were present at the event. The SSP congratulated Shooting Range Director Satnam Singh and Coach Navdeep Kaur for their excellent training efforts and wished all the athletes continued success.
