Punjab: Three drug smugglers arrested

Punjab: Wahabwala police seized 513 grams of heroin from Vikramjit Singh of Dhani Ramsara Narayan Village in Hanumangarh. He was driving when the drug was seized from him on Abohar-Sadulshahar road. Vikramjit was produced in court which sent him to three-day police custody.

In another incident, CIA staff seized 800 grams of opium from two bike-borne youths Pawan Kumar and Rajkaran of Kera Kheda village. They have been booked under sections 18, 29, 61 and 85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
