Punjab: Teachers will protest in three blocks where by-elections are to be held

Punjab: The Democratic Teachers Front today announced that it will hold protests against the AAP government in the three assembly constituencies of Gidderbaha, Barnala and Chabbewal going to bypolls. Front member Pawan Kumar said the front wanted to highlight its pending demands, including assigning non-teaching work to teachers. He said the front has already submitted a charter of demands to Education Minister Harjot Bains.
