Punjab: One person murdered in Ropar area, two arrested

Punjab: Two men have been arrested for stoning a man to death in Bharatgarh on Thursday evening. The accused Dogar Singh had an old land dispute with his brother Ranjeet Singh, due to which his son Gurmeet Singh, under the influence of alcohol, came to Ranjeet’s house to fight. Meanwhile, the victim Suchha Singh knocked on the door to deliver milk. On hearing the knock, Gurmeet started throwing bricks and stones at Suchha, causing serious injuries to his head. Dogar and Gurmeet were arrested today.
