Punjab: Former MLA’s remand extended in drugs case

Punjab: A Mohali court today extended the police remand of former Ferozepur MLA Satkar Kaur and Jaskirat Singh by two days. They were arrested with 100 grams of narcotic powder on Wednesday when they were coming here in a car to deliver drugs. Both were arrested and sent to one-day police custody. The Anti-Narcotics Task Force sought their five-day remand on the plea that they needed to question them further in connection with the case.
