Punjab: Court rejects police petition in Bishnoi interview case

Mohali: The court has rejected the revision petition in the Lawrence Bishnoi TV interview case, arguing that the consent of police officers for polygraph test was taken forcibly. On April 24, the court had stayed the controversial order of polygraph test on policemen till April 28. Earlier, the court had ordered voluntary polygraph test of ASI Mukhtar Singh, constables Simranjit Singh, Harpreet Singh, Balwinder Singh, Satnam Singh and Amritpal Singh.

Verka milk price will increase by Rs 2 per liter from April 30 Mohali: Verka has increased the maximum retail price of different types of milk by Rs 2 per liter from April 30. There is no change in the prices of other milk products. The price of full cream milk (500 ml) has been increased from Rs 34 to Rs 35, STD (500 ml) from Rs 31 to Rs 32, toned milk (500 ml) from Rs 28 to Rs 29, double toned milk (500 ml) from Rs 25 to Rs 26 and cow milk (500 ml) from Rs 29 to Rs 30.
