Punjab: Body of a Hisar businessman found in Hanumangarh

Punjab: The body of 40-year-old businessman Rakesh Kumhar was found in a field near the bus stand in Sherpur village of Hanumangarh late last night. Police have registered a case of murder and handed over the body to the family after post-mortem. The deceased’s brother Kuldeep Kumar has lodged a named complaint against three people Sandeep Jangar resident of Deva village and Anil and Sunil residents of Hisar in Mohabbatpur village of Adampur tehsil of Hisar district. Kuldeep told that his brother Rakesh was having a dispute with these three people regarding a transaction of Rs 70 lakh. Rakesh left the house yesterday afternoon saying that he was going to Bhadra to collect money from the accused. But he did not return till night and his phone was also switched off when contacted. His car was found parked near the bus stand in Sherpur village and his body was found about 20 meters away. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and sent the body to the government hospital in Bhadra for post-mortem.
