Punjab: After a quarrel, a young man stabbed his father to death

Punjab: A youth in Govindsar village of Sri Ganganagar allegedly stabbed his 66-year-old father to death because the father scolded him for drinking alcohol. Rakesh had allegedly consumed alcohol while returning home from a religious fair. A quarrel broke out between him and his father Lekh Ram Jat over this. Rakesh went to sleep in his room. Around midnight, he came out of the room and stabbed Lekh Ram to death.
