Punjab: A woman was robbed at gunpoint

Ferozepur: Incidents of theft, snatching and robbery are happening continuously in Ferozepur and one such robbery incident happened yesterday with a young woman going towards Ferozepur Cantonment Railway Station at around 3:45 pm. Near Peer Baba’s Dargah at the railway station, the robbers on a motorcycle showed a pistol to the young woman and took off her gold jewellery and fled after snatching her purse and mobile phone etc.

They took off the gold ring worn on her hand, the gold locket worn around her neck and the gold earrings worn in her ears and fled after snatching her Vivo mobile phone and purse which contained Aadhar card, PAN card, ATM, Railway ID etc. and about 4000 rupees. He told that the police is searching for these robbers and the CCTV cameras installed nearby are being scanned.
