His son was walking some distance away when around 10 stray dogs attacked him. The boy was rushed to Nabha Civil Hospital in a critical condition but doctors declared him dead.
Nabaha Congress (rural) president Balwinder Singh Bittu said, “Just three days ago, a pack of dogs attacked a cow and injured it. Stray dogs have created an atmosphere of fear among the villagers. The concerned authorities should resolve the issue as soon as possible.” Nabha SDM Ishmat Vijay Singh said a report sought from the District Development and Panchayat Officer (DDPO) in the case was awaited.
