Punjab: 3 women from Muktsar injured in explosion
Punjab: Three women workers were seriously injured in a blast at a mehndi factory in Mandi Killianwali of Lambi assembly constituency today. The injured have been identified as Sunita, Sandeep Kaur and Roopa. They were immediately rushed to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda. Sources said the blast took place in the mehndi mixing unit. The factory supervisor refused to give any information. It is being said that the injured were taken out of the room after breaking the door. Meanwhile, the blast spread panic among the residents. Sources claimed that there were about 20 women workers in the factory and most of them were resting at the time of the blast. A team of firefighters doused the fire. Police have started investigation.
