Punjab: 10-year-old boy injured after falling from roof while flying kite

Punjab: A 10-year-old boy from Kala Tibba village here was seriously injured after falling from the roof while flying a kite this afternoon. The boy Ravi Kumar was first treated at Abohar Civil Hospital, after which he was referred to Sri Ganganagar. According to the report, Ravi, who studies in the local village school, lost his balance while flying a kite on the roof of his house. He fell down from a height of about 12 feet, causing serious injuries. His family immediately took him to the civil hospital in an unconscious state. Doctors at Abohar Civil Hospital said that the deceased Ravi has suffered a deep injury on the head. They said that he will have to undergo a CT scan. Doctors said that Ravi also has a fracture in his waist. Seeing his condition, doctors have advised him to get treatment in Sri Ganganagar itself.
