Providing medical treatment in Bihar has become easier, MBBS education is now available in Hindi

MBBS Education: The Bihar government is going to provide MBBS education in Hindi to the students in the medical colleges of the state. For this, syllabus and books will be ordered from Aryabhatta Knowledge University, so that students can be taught in Hindi. This will be a great implementation and it will help those students who have received their previous education in Hindi. The aim of this initiative is to provide medical education to those whose mother tongue is Hindi. For this, faculty will also be selected, who can teach MBBS in Hindi. The enrollment process will start soon. Every year hundreds of students want to enroll for MBBS in the famous colleges of Bihar and now the addition of Hindi language will also speed up the admission process, as students will be free to study through their choice. It will be fully implemented and will get official recognition. Some words like gall bladder, kidney and fallopian tube will be different in Hindi and English language. There will be separate batches for students studying in different languages. Currently, books on various subjects related to MBBS are being published in both Hindi and English. Tender has been issued for purchase of books at university level.

First of all, MBBS studies will start in Hindi in Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (FMT), Biochemistry, Microbiology, Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR), Anesthesia, Radiology, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Pathology, Skin, ENT and other major departments. JLNMCH Principal Dr. Uday Narayan Singh said that work is going on in the university to ensure MBBS studies in Hindi. The process of purchasing books will be started as soon as they are available in Hindi language. This move will benefit Hindi-speaking natives and give them a better opportunity to get medical education in their mother tongue. Hindi was introduced as a medium of education in all government medical schools across Uttar Pradesh in 2023.
