Protest to implement the promise given to ASHA workers

Jayamma, president of the Tungaturthi Mandal of the Asha Workers Association, has urged the Congress government to implement the promises made to Asha workers. On Thursday, Asha workers protested and spoke in front of the Primary Health Center in Vempati, Tungaturthi Mandal. They said that the Congress party had promised to give Rs. 18,000 to Asha workers in its manifesto and provide job security, but this has not been implemented so far. They said that they are facing difficulties due to non-payment of salaries and they want the promises made to them to be implemented immediately. Mekaka Jayamma, Rajeshwari, Sujatha, Yakalakmi, Venkata Lakmi, Nilamma, Shobha and Kalamma participated in the program.
