Progress of redevelopment works of Kota and Dakaniya Talav railway stations

quota. The redevelopment of Kota and Dakaniya Talav stations of West Central Railway has gathered pace. The development works of Kota and Dakaniya Talav stations are also being reviewed continuously. A target has been set to complete the redevelopment work of Dakaniya Talab station by October 2024 and the redevelopment work of Kota station by April 2025.
Foundation work of front and rear station building of Dakaniya Talav station is being done. The earth work of platform and rail lines is also in progress. Similarly, after finalizing the design of the front side of the Kota station building, the construction work has been started and the work is in progress.

Progress of Kota station:-

• Quality control lab work completed.
• Work of temporary working ticket counter towards platform number 04 completed.
• Work of temporary upper class waiting room and ladies waiting room completed on platform number 04.
• The construction work of Community Hall is in progress.

Progress of Daknia Talav station:-

• Drone survey work completed.
• Completed client office work.
• Site office work completed.
• Soil survey work of site completed.
• Laboratory work completed.
• Relay room work completed at the station.
• Temporary RPF office and waiting room on Platform No. 2/3.

Kota Railway Station:- Kota Railway Station is an important station located on the New Delhi-Mumbai line. The redevelopment work of Kota station is being done at a cost of Rs.207.63 crore.

Dakaniya Talav Railway Station: – Dakaniya Talav Railway Station in Kota Division is an important station located on the New Delhi-Mumbai chord line. The redevelopment work of Dakaniya Talav station is being done at a cost of Rs 111.19 crore.
