Proceedings to legalize illegal water connections in Sirohi city

Sirohi: Under the Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project in Sirohi city, the work of providing water connections to consumers under the Water Supply Scheme in Sirohi Municipal Council area is being done by RU IDP.

RUIDP Superintending Engineer Manish Arora said that those consumers who do not have valid connections issued by the water supply department, are requested to apply to the water supply department as per the rules and take action to get the illegal connections made by them legal. .
Upon inspection by the department, legal action will be taken against any consumer whose water connection is found to be illegal. In this regard, the Municipal Council has made an appeal to the general public that those consumers who do not have valid water connections in Sirohi area and who have made illegal connections at their own level, such consumers should contact the Water Supply Department or RUIDP Department and get information about their illegal water connections. Edit the application process as per rules to validate the connection. Consumers will be fully supported in the process of applying through RU IDP.
To solve the problems faced by the general public during this work, the department has issued a helpline number 18001800116 on which the general public can register their complaints or suggestions on the said helpline number from 9 am to 6 pm.
