Prime Minister Narendra Modi Inaugurates India’s First Ring Metro In Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the country’s first ‘Ring Metro’ in Delhi on Sunday. Modi launched two new corridors of the Delhi Metro along with the ‘Ring Metro’. Modi inaugurated the 12.3-km long Majlis Park-Maujpur-Babarpur (Pink Line) and the 9.9-km Deepali Chowk-Majlis Park (Magenta Line) corridors.
The Pink Line corridor has eight elevated stations. With this, the total length of this Pink Line is 71.56 km. With this, this metro is called ‘Ring Metro’. There is also a bridge over the Yamuna River on this route. There is also a double-decker bridge. In one of these, there is a metro line and in the other, there is a road flyover. Seven more stations will be added to the newly started Magenta Line. The total length of this corridor is 49 km. The Deepali Chowk-Majlis Park corridor has a height of 28.36 meters. It is the highest among the Delhi Metro stations. In addition to these, Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for three other new corridors.
Modi has inaugurated the construction of three corridors – Golden Line, Golden Line Extension and Central Vista. These will enable the people of Noida to reach Delhi Airport directly.
