Primary school headmaster suspended in student’s murder case

Bhilai. The headmaster of the primary school has been blamed for the murder of a class four student. Principal reader Sevati Thakur has been suspended, along with this, arrangements for teaching work in the school have also been made for two teachers. Let it be known that the student had come to his school, Government Primary School Chicha, on the date of the incident. He was a fourth class student in this school. When he went out after lunch he did not return. His bag was kept in the class room itself. This fact was not taken into consideration even though the headmaster was his class teacher. He did not even inform the higher authorities about the incident.

Taking this seriously, the Education Department has suspended him for negligence after investigation. Under the arrangement of teachers in Chicha Primary School, Sandeep Ganguly from Khursuni and Khoman Sahu from Odarskari have been attached. It is noteworthy that Toran Sahu (9 years), son of Tejram Sahu, resident of village Chicha under Arjunda police station, had gone to school in the morning. Toran did not come to school after midday meal. When he did not come home in the evening, his mother went to look for him. After searching around the village, his body was found covered with a sack in Kotna in Gauthan. Police reached the spot in the night itself. Investigation revealed that his elder father’s son, who is a class 10 student, had committed the murder. The police is taking him into custody and interrogating him. Mutual rivalry between both the houses is said to be the reason behind the incident.
