Priest dies in pond, drowns while bathing

Jagdalpur. The village priest drowned while taking a bath in the pond on Monday morning in village Kurenga of Parpa police station area, due to which he died. As soon as the news of the death of the priest came, the people of the village along with his family members gathered near the pond, where The body was sent to Mekaj for PM, after this incident there was a wave of show in the village.

Giving information about the case, Rupendra Baghel, nephew of the deceased, said that Sada Baghel’s father Late Sada Baghel, who had been working as a priest for many years in the Shitala temple located in the village. Paklu, 35, had gone to take a bath in the Sonamunda pond, located about 600 meters away from his house, at 6 am on Monday morning. While bathing, he suddenly went into deep water, after which he died, no information is available about the incident. Even the deceased was not aware, the nephew of the deceased had gone to the pond to wash his hands and feet, where seeing a man drowning, he jumped into the water, where after taking out the body, the nephew identified himself as Sada Baghel.
