Price of rebar falls, reduced by 6 thousand per tonne

Raipur: Due to the slowdown in the market, there has been a huge decline in the iron market. In Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, the rate of rebar has reached its lowest level in five years. These days, rebar is being sold at Rs 49,000 per tonne in factories and Rs 53,000 per tonne in retail.

Iron traders say that prices may fall further in the coming days. Earlier in July 2019, rebar had reached the level of Rs 49 thousand per tonne. After this, the process of boom in the iron market started.

If seen in a month, the prices of rebar have fallen by Rs 6000 per tonne. It is known that in the month of March 2022, rebar had reached its highest peak and during that time its price had reached Rs 80 thousand per tonne.
