Pregnant wife dies of shock after meeting jailed husband

Bhagalpur (IANS) | In Bihar’s Bhagalpur, the stubbornness of a pregnant woman overpowered her. After meeting the jailed husband, the wife was so shocked that she died shortly after.

This whole matter pertains to Bhagalpur Central Jail. Pallavi Kumari (26), wife of Guddu Yadav, resident of Janidih, Ghogha, had reached on Tuesday to meet her jailed husband.

Before giving birth to the child, she wanted to meet her husband once. She used to be upset since her husband went to jail. The in-laws were not in favor of allowing the pregnant Pallavi to meet her husband in jail, but everyone had to bow down to her insistence.

On Tuesday, Pallavi reached the jail to meet her husband. Meeting her husband, the visitor had just moved away from the window when she fell on the ground.

In a hurry, the relatives took him to the local hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.

According to the relatives of the deceased Pallavi, Guddu has been in jail for almost seven months on charges of attempt to murder. Guddu and Pallavi were married two years back. It is feared that Pallavi died of a heart attack.
