Pre-wedding day: Former Miss World and actress Manushi Chillar appeared in a glamorous avatar on the occasion. Manushi wore a golden and orange colored saree. Javed Jaffrey’s son Oli, Javed Jaffrey’s son Meezaan and Shikhar’s brother Veer Pahadia were also present at the event. Oli is also on Anant and Radhika’s best friend list.
The former participates in all the events at his house. Meanwhile, a video of Oli playing the dafoori is going viral. The Maamer ceremony is a Gujarati ceremony in which the bride’s maternal uncle comes to give sweets and gifts to the bride. These include Pantera sarees, jewellery and ivory and white bangles gifted to her by her maternal uncle and aunt.
Anant will marry Radhika, daughter of businessman Viren Merchant, on July 12. Three pre-wedding days were held in Jamnagar, Gujarat in early March and later in Italy and France, which were attended by celebrities from around the world, including Bollywood.
