Praja Palana-Pragati system to be launched in Nizamabad and Kamareddy from April 2

Nizamabad: The Praja Palana-Pragati Pravachan program will begin on April 2nd, with the district administrations of Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts organizing gram sabhas in villages.
The meetings will focus on public participation, discussion of government schemes, feedback from beneficiaries, and review of development activities and local issues.
Schemes to be discussed include Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Housing, the Mahalakshmi Free Travel Scheme for women, subsidized LPG cylinder supply, bonuses for the purchase of quality paddy, Cheyutha pension, Griha Jyothi, Kalyana Lakshmi, and Shadi Mubarak, and issues related to new ration cards.
New initiatives such as the Indiramma Family Insurance Scheme, breakfast coverage up to the intermediate level, mid-day meals in junior colleges, and concerns of students with disabilities at the intermediate level will also be discussed.
Officials said the gram sabhas will finalize proposals, address local grievances, and process pending applications.
Sarpanch, ward members, Panchayat Secretary, officers from different departments, village elders, women, farmers, youth, self-help groups and beneficiaries will participate in the meeting.
