Praja Palan: Around 9.50 lakh applications submitted in erstwhile Adilabad

Adilabad: Around 9,50 lakh applications were received from the public in the old district of Adilabad to avail the benefits of six guarantees under the framework of Abhay Hastam Scheme during the eight-day program Praja Palan that concluded on Saturday.

According to the information given by the officials, Mancherial district stood at the forefront among the four districts for receiving 2,83,262 applications, while Kumram Bheem Asifabad district stood last among the four institutions for registering 1,60,779 applications. Nirmal district received 2,80,489 requests and Adilabad district received 2,25,004 requests.

Mancherial municipality registered 30,891 applications, while Naspur civic body stood second with 19,948 applications. Bellampalli Municipality received 17,559 applications, followed by Mandamari Municipality with 15,545 applications. In rural areas, Jannaram mandal received 21,020 applications and Mandamarri mandal received 5,075 applications.

Meanwhile, Mancherial Collector, Badavath Santosh directed officials to ensure that the data of applications is entered online without any errors. It was announced that action will be taken against those who are negligent in charging the data of applications. The data entry operators were competent, he said. Patients asked to report any problems. Mancherial Municipality was inspected this Saturday.

Earlier, 1,702 special kiosks were set up in Mancherial district, while 1,884 kiosks were set up in Adilabad to collect public requests. They constituted a total of 1,335 protesters in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district.

Panchayat Raj Minister Dansari Seetakka formally inaugurated the Praja Palan program in Jamini village of Jainath mandal of Adilabad district on December 28.
